Interior change:

Here are pictures of my progress on changing the Se brown leather interior over to the earlier 82 GSL tan leather interior. I still have the carpeting to change to tan and the dash to remove and redo to tan. That will have to wait until I get back to Oregon. I was thinking about a Mahogany steering wheel to set it off, What do you guys think?

As you can see the earlier 82 door panels fit perfectly in the SE.

Probably because the styles are conflicting. The dash and everything is 84/85 and the door panels are the earlier ones.

Let me know. My parents live there and I'm there quite often in the summer months. It would be an honor to meet you. Where you thinking of a wooden steering wheel?

It wouldn't be an honor after you met him. LOL. I never feel blessed when I hang around with that old fart.

Yes, I was thinking about the Mahogony wheel from black dragon or at least one like that. They are not like the old school ones. They are a finished wood.

I'll have to torture Kory this weekend when he comes over to help me with the Se. lol.

From what I can tell I will be 1 of 2 RX-7's in the whole area.
RW-7. Just Pm me when your in the area. I'll be back there by May 1st.

Don't worry Chris!
I'll give ya a Drive over to Bend.
My car loves the Mountains and the Coast or anywhere for that matter.

I have the mahogany wheel sold by Grant in my 91 and it's great.
Prior to that, the same wheel steered my 71 Z for over seven years and the finish still looks as new.
It's the perfect thickness and diameter and I recommend it highly.
