I have been really itching to build a flat six and put it into a true classic that is different from others.
Both loving the FD and FB i choose the FB
And out of straight sixes? ill choose a 2jz

So my questions?

First of all "flat 6"?? you mean an H6 from a Subaru or a Porshe? Ok what does a Toyota engine have to do with a boxer 6 cylinder.

Secondly, Get an FD and leave FBs alone.

We have a subforum for people like you, but it requires a little bit of searching to find it. The mouse scroll wheel is a good tool for this.

Here I'll save you the trouble. Other Engine Conversions - non V-8 - RX7Club.com

1. No need to be a D***
2. yes i meant a straight six, Im sorry for the confusion that leads everyone to be so angry.
3. i have all three gens so no thank you i am willing to do this.
4. i searched in that section of the forum with little luck.
Does anyone have anything that will help me and not criticize me?

I come to this forum to read about rotaries, not boingers. I'm sure others are here for the same reasons. When you guys insist on posting boinger stuff here in the ROTARY section, it gets anoying quickly.

I don't go to the other engines section and post about how awesome rotaries are. Or how easy they are to work on vs all the work a piston swap requires. But it seems a couple of the newer boinger guys are coming here and insisting how much better their mileage is or the power delivery of pistons or whatever. I dont care about that! I'm here on this forum to read about rotaries. This is the tech section for rotaries. This section is for noobs and well established forum users alike to talk about rotaries!

So here is what I'd do if I were you. First I'd reconsider going boinger, but you're already there so second I'd go to the other engine section and start a build thread with lots of pictures and your ideas for how to swap the inline 6 in a 1st gen. Show the engine. Show the empty engine bay. You'll attract attention. Others will help you... in that section. You'll probably get no help here. You'll only attract more of the same anoyed users like me; people who come here to escape boingers. The rotary is a different kind of engine. It attracts a different kind of person. We like rotaries. We might also like pistons, but we're here to talk about rotaries on a forum set up for rotaries.

Like j9fd3s said, you might be the first to do this swap. Good luck. But take it to the right forum please.

Thank You AXA ill look into it.
as for jeff, thank you for your response, i will move somewhere else.

But your take on me not loving the rotory is harsh. Ill take my 20b some place else where the people arent ***holes. I love my rotaries. just want to build something different. How many rotaries can i build. I wanted to spice it up, And get into contact with someone who has done a 2j before. After that the thread is over. You dont need to spend half the day telling me to simply move from this section. just scroll by me, thats all.

I offer you this help: don't call people names when you are simultaneously begging them for help. I expect that from street bums, not on this forum.

I'd say something along the lines of "Grow up" but even though it's constructive, you might see it as criticism. I'd hate for your panties to get bunched up more than they already are.

I once talked to a guy who had done this. He wasnt overly happy with the results cause of the weight. I still think it would be sweet though.

yeah the 2jz is REALLY heavy due to that damned iron block. ive thought about canibalizing my sc300 and doing this swap, but the weight always makes me balk. the hp makes it really desireable, but i think the weight will kill the handling enough to suck the fun out of it.

sheez. chill.

this is the 1st gen section and he was asking about a 1st gen. the v-8 section is filled with 3rd gens.

how about a little civility? You saw the thread title, no need to click on it. Not all of us are purist, and just because someone puts a boinger in does not mean the don't have love for the rotary.

20b is prob cheaper.

BUT, if you want something different, why not a Rover v8? Real racing pedigree, wicked sound, and all aluminum so its very light.

They are also incredibly efficient at only 215 CI for a v8.
