i found some 240sx rear seats on ebay, one said it could fit an 89-93 240sx, and the other said it was from a 95 240sx, so i was wondering if they would fit in my 84 gs?

 

Yea with some fabed up seat rails. Just find some S5 seats, direct bolt in.

 

Just find any FC seats, don't bastardize your car with shitty Nissan parts

 

i cant find any fc seats or anything for my kind of car, i've found a bunch for 2nd generation but none for 1st

 

If you get any 240sx seats get 95 and up the earlier one suck so dont wast your money on them.

If 240SX rear seats are made for legless midgets,then yea they might fit.

Its probably not worth the effort with the 240 rear seats.1st gen rear seats will bolt right up correctly, and look right the first time.They pop up for sale from time to time because almost nobody can fit in them.
If you have not ever sat in,or seen the FB or FC rear seats in person,Id consider doing that before shelling out the cash for them........you might just change your mind.......unless of course, you have a couple legless midgets to transport around!

 

I have heard that the 2nd gen 7 rear seats can be made to fit the 1st gens, but have not seen them installed personally. I have both red and blue 2nd gen rear seats in the basement, should be able to find most of the hardware. Make me an offer. PM me with your e-mail addy if you want pics.

 

2nd gen seats will fit in the first gen rx7 all you need is to bolt the 1st gen rails on the second gen seats and they bolt right in i have a set in my car. they are back out right now so i could take pictures. but they fit no mods just get the socket set out.

NO on the 240sx rear seats the seat backs will be too high in the FB.

On the other hand I do think you can get the FC rear seats to fit. I happen to have a 240 so thats a definate No. But I also have a FC rear seat that I can take some picture of in my SA tomorrow soyou can see how the look.

There also for sale (Dirt Cheap) before I throw them away.

I bolted the TII seats out of my '88 FC RX-7 right up. The stock rails worked, no swapping or modding fabbing.

To the original poster, an FC is a 1986-1991 Rx-7.
