22c works widebody?

Is this kit available for purchase or is it a one off build?

I'm in love.

It looks very similar to the Mariah GTO kit.

Mariah GTO

He is correct, looks like the GTO. That car does look odd as in fake almost.

Mine is a Kent body from the early 80's, basically they are all very similiar, the one
in the picture has bigger rear flairs, probably can run 13 inch wide rims out back.

I have 12 inch wide and they are close to the limit of the rear flair, i think the kits are like 3000.00 through mariah

I just checked the Mariah site, you guys are right it looks like their kit but the GTU kit not the GTO kit. The front fenders dip down instead of staying wide all the way across like the GTO kit. Definitely awesome looking.

Someone posted links to a writeup about that car recently. It's the real thing and in Japan. Specs on the car humble mine.

GTU body

Yes, GTU is correct, its a alot smaller front than the GTO and the flairs are totally different in the back. They usually dont have the large duck-bill as the GTU race cars had, most have a porsche like whale tail.

Dan S has a super nice GTO build.

The ISC stuff is for race cars, to make it pretty enough for a street car will take a lot of filling and sanding. The parts are also not made thick to live a long life on the street they are built light and you just plan on crashing once in a while so you get new ones.

I found it

I believe I found this kit being made on https://www.rotaryengineeringsb.com . They have many different 1st gen rx-7 IMSA kits that all seem beautifully done.
