225-45-15 pics at Streets of Willow Springs

As requested, here are some pics from the last track day where I ran some 225-45-15 Hoosiers that stuck nice but wore quick. I have a short 2mb video clip of that turn if anyone can host it. btw, I did end up passing that Porsche
Enjoy.

Looks like we got someone to host the clip.
Now...the clip is only 5 secs long of that turn in all the pics. Oh, and it's 5 megs not 2.

Thanks everyone for the compliments.

Nick, check my sig for suspension

oh, and im assuming you ave the rear sprpings with the 5 dead wound coils you are supposed to cut to ride height? how many coils did you cut?

My guess is that they are 155-175lb.

I'm not running the springs with the dead wound coils....The highest those come in is 200lb, and I wanted 250lb.
I'm running G-force "Red Dot" springs in the rear.

Thanks.
yeah I was surprised too. Keep in mind though that 225-45-15 is a rare size, only available in competition style tires. The common 225-50-15 would not fit nearly as well, if at all.

Truely awesome car, almost the exact setup I want, but I don't have quite a large enough budget so I have to compromise ... someday.

Thanks. I go with www.speedtrialusa.com and/or www.driving101.net, and the occasional drift practice day or things like Mazfest. How about you?

Thanks. That Porsche should of been faster, but I think he wasnt ready to commit to taking it that far. Funny story though....I'm on his *** threw the turns for the better part of two laps, but on the straights he had so much power that I couldnt pass. He finally realized he was holding me up and let me pass. After the session I go over to talk to him and we start talking about his car for a minute or two. So I ask how it's running in the heat (it was real hot that day) and he says to me..."the cars running fine, but too bad I just got my *** handed to me by the guy in the silver RX-7". I start to laugh, and tell him that is was me. He ended up being really cool and told me to keep bringing it on.

anyways, I run stock GSL-SE brakes with Hawk HP+ pads. I have no problem what soever at willow springs streets, but at Buttonwillow (the only other track I've been to) I wouldnt mind a little more.
