^+1 Either way you look at it, it will be an expensive custom job.

Probably, since all of us 1st and 2nd gen guys are too cheap to spend the kind of outrageous money that Petit charges. When I was looking for a 3rd gen at one time, I drove down to Tulsa to test drive one of Petits newly rebuilt engines. The poor kid spent 11k for a full rebuild and the reliability mods. After all that, his net hp was 330. I don't know what this 'poor little' rich kid spent on buying the car, but it still needed more work, lol.

I guess I'm the antithesis to Petit since I won't work on the 3rd gens.

besides i think the cosmo 13b turbo is the easier and better solution... not just price but bolting in... I know I can get a 5-600hp engine built and ready to run/bolt in from Australia through a few builders over there that I trust from back in the day I used to drive rotories all the time... this is my project car that will be done over the next 5yrs or so...

seeing I got a mint (99%) rust free 84 GSL-SE... for $400 then sold the engine and gearbox back to the seller about 4mths later for $300ish... I have a project for $100....

Looking good so far, and I agree, the Cosmo engine would be much easier to work with than the 20B.
