205 60r14 tires

Where do you guys who run stock GSL-SE wheels buy your tires from? The 10 year old Yokohamas on my car seem to have been discontinued.

Just feel lucky you don't have 13in tires. You will have to do some searching to find good 14in I
bet. Seems like the mftrs have abondoned anything under 15in lately.

Just convert to 15". I did and they are amazing! Fabulous selection of NEW, not dry rot 5 yo tires, everywhere I go. I can get all season or summer tires at non-insane prices. Made by companies people know about and have good reputations, like Bridgestone or Goodyear; and not made by "CHINESE GOOD FOR YOU TIRE COMPANY" or "RUBBER ON STEEL TIRE COMPANY". And its not like I melted my old 13's they are still there and if REAL companies ever make 13" tires again I'll buy them. Till then I've got an alternative that enables me to drive my car like it was meant to be driven... HARD.

Same here, I just switched to 15 konigs and running some very sticky dunlop direzza star II.
I had to relearn how to drive the car hard again. Lots o' fun.

I also kept my waffles with RWL on them so I can swap them on for a change if I want.

I got Potenza RE71R's. Stick like maaaaaad. Granted the rotten 13's are fun for donuts, but the 205/50/15's are fun for fast reasons.

The only tires my shop could get were Landsail LS388, but there only 195/60r14...definitely not very sticky but get the job done. I think it was about $450 mounted and balanced.

Right on!

Anyone have recommendations for a set of 15in wheels to look into? I know some 240sx wheels have the 4x114.3 bolt pattern but there center hub is bigger than the rx7s. I don't want a flashy set of wheels; I'm defiantly more interested in a set of OEM wheels off another car.

You've got to be joking about the name. Land snail??

Fortunately for the OP GSL-SE hubs have a common bolt pattern. I think its not too difficult to find 15" wheels to fit. Even if you have to go to the aftermarket world to find them. Just remember when it comes to wheels cheap=worst. Doesn't mean most expensive is best, but cheap Chinese wheels are heavy and they crack.

I didn't even check availability on 14" tires, but these look cool enough to give them a chance before buying wheels.

These are decent tires and are one of the few sportier tires in 14" wheel sizes

Federal 595 is available in 205/60-14. I have a set in 205/60-13 for my stock "plus" wheels, and I love them. I love the way the 13" wheels look on my car, and wouldn't want to downgrade to larger diameter wheels.

I have a set of the federal 595, 205/60r14, on my SE. Had them for more than a year (7000 miles). Great tire. Obviously not the sticky-est, but more than adequate. Most weekends I go for a mountain drive, no complaint in the bends. Very consistent. Excellent wet weather grip. And I get to keep my stock SE look.
