If he's about to crush them I'm sure he'd part with each for no more than $50. If I was you I'd go pick one up.

Get them and part them out yourself. I'm sure plenty of us will make it worth your while. I'll buy the rear end off one of em if ya get em. Let us know, I'm sure you could find a few willing buyers like me.

I could use the interior pieces if they are red and from an 81-83 with manual windows. I also still need some seats and other minor interior moldings... I'm in NJ as well, maybe me and 82transam could share the shipping?

I wish i could get them... i saved mine from getting crushed.... the body was good, except for the tire wells. Huge *** holes, nothing a little metal and fiberglass can't fix. About $2000 later shes going, and im glad i found her. Its kinda sad when you think that there are only so many 1st gens out there, and that more pile up in junkyards every day... .
Don't you wish you could save them all...
Then again, my new project is my dads 79. He wouldn't give it to me, but he gave it to my sis. Poor thing is rusting so bad, its not even funny. So she is bringing it home for my to sand down, bondo, and paint. I hope i can save it. He bought that thing in newyork, 4th one off the boat....

I think that's a good idea restoring83, we could save some $$$ on shipping that way. Hey damon i'll pm ya later with an offer for that rear. My offer will depend heavily upon shipping costs however.

Yea blitz0309 it is sad. There are a lot of old cars that I'd love to save but unfortunatly the sad truth is someday all but the ones in museums and private collectors will be gone. Damn now I'm depressed. oh well, still got my car, a drive will cheer me up.
