I will be at Buttonwillow this Wednesday!

But I will be driving my STi.

Buttonwillow is a good track and is a lot of fun! Looks like everyone was having a good time! Once I get my '85 SE in better working order, I want to get it to the autocross. It will definately get some track time too.

Last Monday I was driving Willow Springs ("Big" Willow 2.5 mile). If my '85 SE was not in the shop getting it's transmission rebuilt, I would of brought it to the track as well. I can never have too much track time!

Buttonwillow is close to me. I've been invited but i've never gone. I can think of better ways to spend 150$ to go race on a corse. That and i don't think my car is ready yet.

Thumbs down

if you think 150 bucks isnt worth some track time then you shouldnt be driving a sports car.

I could understand if you didnt have 150 to spare but to insinuate its just stupid tells us what kinda guy you are.

Man, I have to pay $365 for Wednesday?

Well, that is for a Private track event with only 15 guys and no run groups! Tons of track time!

LOL, $150 is cheap. Normal race weekend for me is $350-$450 for the entry fee. Granted, that's with an all-out race series. But it's still track time. I haven't heard of anything much cheaper than that in these parts. $300 will normally get you into HPDE for the weekend.
