1st Gens at the Woodward Dream Cruise

Some photos from Saturday at the Woodward Dream Cruise.

Here's the Sunoco station at Woodward @ South Blvd... I pulled in when I saw a bunch of 1st Gens in the parking lot!

Yes, this is a Cosmo engine (J-spec) and it puts out 512 HP at the rear wheels. THAT IS NOT A TYPO... 512 hp.

And something a little different: a 13B powered Suzuki Sidekick! This was just the sweetest little ride.

Love the wheels on your car. Nice Sidekick, there is one local to me as well. It is pink though.

UGh, between this and my sister and friends sending me pics of all the cars. I sooo wanna be back home. Ive been to the dream cruise so many times, Ive had to miss it though these past 2 years and probaby 4 more years to come. One of the things that sucks about being in the military I guess. Never home for the cool things that go on. Like the autoshow and all the events at phoenix plaza.

The Sidekick is awesome. On the red SE, I'd like to put the engine in my SE! I'd hate to screw up a clean stock car though... but I may do it anyhow.

Does the red one belong to anyone here? I would like to add it to the Dyno thread.

512 RWHP on stock rims and tires - Freaking suicidal.
With stock wheels my car would be like driving on ice even with only 300 to the wheels.

Yup. still here, had about a year and a half absence with basic and ait. Now Im down here in hell paso missing all the good Michigan stuff, but I did happen across a really nice first gen, so I guess it isnt all bad.
Anyway, Last time I was at the cruise me and a buddy where rolling in my 81 (believe, its been a minute) 900 saab. That was in 05. There really are some nice cars out at that cruise thou mine wasnt one of them

I don't think JC is on here. He used to have slicks on the back and skinny tires on the front, but just went back to the stock setup.
