Where I live is by a UTI Campus, and so everyone here is a car nut. Only one person has challenged me to a race, I asked him do you wanna race my FB or my other car. The guy said my other car, I told him it was a 73 nova with a blown 427. He declined. But everyone else trembles when they hear me driving home. Dont know why its completely stock! LOL!!!

I guess Vin Diesel in fast and the furious did some good. But probably more harm than good.

My wife hatted my 7 when I bought it. I guess she tought that $75 would have been more usefull paying bills or some other junk that she has to have. Oh well a couple of the gals I work with like it. Anybody want to trade a wife and 3 kids(not mine) for some fb parts?

I have an '85 SE and noticed people will look out of
curiosity. They don't know what it is, and believe it or not most looks are from women in their late 20's or 30's.

A pharmacist I drove to and from work a couple times this weekend said she liked them when they came out but had never ridden in one.

Of course, she also asked if "that noise" goes away. "That noise" was my leaky disconnected-muffler exhaust.

I think at least once she asked "Are we gonna die?"

They are definitely a chick magnet. They are rare around here and many of the chicks think it is a new car or at least don't realize it is 20 years old.

Unhappy

Sad update to this thread (since I mentioned it when I started it...) my "girlfriend" that I mentioned is now my EX-girlfriend... apparently she was too materialistic... the car was only one of the reasons she mentioned (although it wasn't the car specifically, but the fact that its "an old car." Maybe with a few mods and a decent clean paint job, I'll find one of those chicks with my new "magnet"

What do you expect? If your car looks like ****, no matter what model it is, girls are not going to like it.

I had an old girlfriend that liked mine so much she got one herself, even the same color. A few years ago she traded it for a new car (with heated seats), but now she wants another RX-7.

Actually, the paint is good, but it's not that clean, super-shiny paint job anymore. The upholstery has been totally redone too. It looks like a really decent car and drives fairly well... but she's one of those that doesn't like cars that aren't newer than Y2K

My ex hated mine, Only cos it beat her and her dads brand new holdens. Wasnt happy when i danced around going NANANANA and waving my arms round like a wet spider. Shes cheated on me with 1 of my mates at the time, I beat his holden too so i let him keep her, If you could have sex with a car it would be the perfect relationship.
Most chicks hate my car cos its to loud and is multi colourd. No a/c and worth less than $4000. they love the bike though and its worth less???? bloody women.

Maybe so, but a lot of women like bikes for an entirely different reason (especially the back seat of a Harley, if you catch my drift)

hey even the girls in Kansas have great taste in cars. My very clean 85 GSL-SE turns heads all the time. What's better than having these young hotties checking out my car first then the driver!? Okay,,maybe some of them look disappointed when they see a 45 year old fart like me behind the wheel...but hey, the "7" has to make ME look better...right?
