I tell ya, we Canadians come up with all the great technology, sell the plans to the states, and end up buying the actual product back at a loss... it's always amazed me.

Canadian engineers and technicians are highly sought-after in the states, so we lose many of them to there.. Our aerospace industry is the most advanced in the world, but we don't even have a launch pad! We just launch on US shuttles, or piggy-back US missions.

I think Canada needs to get some more ***** and start doing **** for itself. Military... Aerospace... Engineering... We have the highest quality of it all, but the lowest quantity.

Yeah, it's a shame really. The Canada Arm owns though

It's hard to believe that we used to have one of the largest air forces in the world, and created the most advanced aircrafts as well.

Avro Aero anyone?

Oh, sorry to get off topic. I wanna see this kit done too!! I hate having to crank at the wheel like a madman :P

er since when has Avro been a canadian company ?

named after Alliott Verdon Roe who was the first Englishman to make a powered flight.

Most famous for the Avro Lancaster and the Avro Vulcan

Now, now...make nice!

I didn't realize Canada engineers were sought after and we used lots of their technology. If this is true, they need to get going and give us some competition!
Makes the good ol' U.S that much better!

I'm losing sleep over rack and pinion, any new ideas on how much longer, and what ballpark figure for the basic kit?

Avro Arrow I meant, and yes, it is Canadian. It unfortunately never made it to full production, but was created by Avro Canada. It was far ahead of it's time, and is a shame it was never in full production.

Search the net, there are many pages regarding it.

http://www.avroarrow.org/

and again, rack and pinion!!!!!!!

Sweet. I just got great service from CP Racing...prompt replies, friendly emails, and a new to me oil cooler in excellent shape. I look forward to more dealings with them in the future. And I'm dying for this kit, wonder steering is fun but R+P would be a dream. -George
