1st Gen Dash

Is there any where I could buy a dash for 79 rx7. I saw one on ebay but it wsa for an eighty-something model but said a 79 car could be converted to a newer dash. Does anyone have experience with this guy ? any advice on if this would be a good idea?

Victoria British has dash caps for early 1st gens. They are molded vinyl and go over top of your cracked dash.

Nice. How do they look? Do they look good or look like a cover?

I believe any OEM dashpad up to 1983 should just bolt on your RX. Its a pain, but doable, if you don't want to go the "dashcap" route. I can text you the install details from my experience with a '79 if you are interested. PM me-

Stu, I too want to know how this turned out for you. Please just say it as I need either a replacement, refurbishment, or dash cap. I'm not sure which is the hot setup and the info would be helpful.
