1st gen 13B turbo setup? what would it be worth?

I've got a front cover and oil pan for a 13B to be dropped into a 1st gen.

I also have a S5 turbo with a ported wastegate that has been polished and ceramic coated. With all brand new gaskets and Stainless steel bolts. Brand new K&N filter also. Turbo has virtually no shaftplay.

It also comes with a crappy crushbent 3" downpipe for a 1st gen. (Not the best of quality but it works, and fits. But not to the stock system)

I would of course get pics. But its a really clean setup.. What should i ask for this setup? I dicided to go with a large TO4E.

(This is not forsale yet, I just dont know what its worth)

EDIT: or should i split the stuff up?

Thanks,
-Zach

No. I'm keeping my motor.. Just decided to go with a larger turbo setup.

I just happen to have an extra front cover and oil pan so a 13B would drop into a 1st gen.

i would ask about 500 bucks for the turbo and manifold
50 bucks for the oil pan

not sure on the front cover. whats it worth to someone to buy a front cover with the oil return allready done?? maybe 100 or 200 bucks..certainly no more.

Is that with all brand new mazda gaskets( dp,turbo-manifold,manifold-engine), 3" downpipe, new K&n filter, ported wg, polished, ceramic coated, all hardware replaced with SS bolts/nuts?

I don't see it being worth much more the $500 but is that normal for a S5 turbo /w ported WG? or because it has all the extras?

Thanks,
-Zach

s5 turbo/mani stock are pretty cheap if you pay much attention to the 2nd gen FS section (like i did for a while before i realized i have no damn money)... but with a ported WG and all that other stuff, and it looking all nice i'd say $500 is prolly a fair price. I'd go $600 as a package price for all of it (including pan and front cover)

that said, i wish i could buy it all from you for my project, but i only have $150 to my name right now, and i have to pay insurance in 9 days.

definately let me know when you're ready to sell that stuff, cause i'm workin on getting my money right.

-Kurt

edit: the turbo is in perfect condition... no?

I wouldn't pay more than $350 for the turbo and manifold. I bought mine for $250 and think that's a little on the high end--but it was local so I thought it was worth it considering I got to inspect it before buying. A S5 stage I hybrid can be had new for $525 so why would I pay over $400 for a used stock turbo.

Not trying to put you down or anything, just look at it from another perspective. Generally for used stuff I'd stick with <50% of new cost--otherwise for me--I'd just rather buy something new.

Well you are forgetting quite a bit.. That's $525 for just the hybrid turbo. You would have to spend another $50 on a manifold and the mazda gaskets alone are ~$200. Plus all the stainless steel bolts/nuts and ported wastegate, K&N filter and downpipe.

Jutny: The turbo is a Jspec, but it is one of the nicest i have seen. There is almost no shaftplay.. only play there is is pretty much bearing clearence.

Thanks for the info though!
