Whenever the rpms go thru 1k accelerating or decelerating, something make a rattling noise and you can feel the engine lag for a split second. Rats nest has been removed, shttuer valve has been removed, have cruise control and ac still hooked up. Any Ideas?

Mine did that when I had a vacuum leak, replaced the hose and it was fine.

 

do you remember which one? I just replace all hoses last year.

If you can't find it, set your idle at 1050 and ta-da !!!

 

Checked all of my vacuum line. didn't find a leak. Car idles perfectly at 750 altogethers run great. just the shudder going past 1K. Forgot to list acv has been removed also.
