1985 Mazda Manual

Hey guys,

Does anyone know of a place on the web to get a soft copy of the 1985 Factory Manual for the RX-7? There are several for 1993 model and its been a great help. I thought probably someone had done the same for the 1st Gen.

Thanks,

Advice...

In many ways Hanye's 79-85 RX-7 manual is better. But if you must, and SCCA requires you have one to complete, Mazdatrix as previous stated, or your local Mazda dealer. Expensive though.

Denny, from the 'ol corncrib....

Thanks for the updates, but I'm afraid I was going for a cheaper route. The 3rd Gen guys have placed an electronic copy in Acrobat (*.pdf) format on the web. All you have to do is download it. Anybody aware of that type of download for the 85?

While I'm aware of problems with copyright laws on this method, since Mazda is really bad about keeping these manuals in print and available, my conscious is spared.

Thanks,

I'm looking for a '83 manual online myself, but can't find a damn thing. Let me know if you come across any sources.

Only "online" .PDF type I've seen is just of the parts lists, not an actual manual. It would be nice to not have to lug the "beast" of a book around

Maybe this is a project I should start. Hmmmm....*thinks*. Do you think other members would think it's a great resource? I can see if I can get a couple of manuals together around here and post them on my website.

Wouldn't posting it on a web site without original copyright owner's permission be copyright infringement???!!! oh well, I could use the factory manual. :p
