1985 GSL Brake calipers

Hey guys. I did some quick searching to see if I could find info but my question is pretty situational so sorry if I missed an old thread that I should have read instead. My question is what is my best option for OEM caliper replacements these days? I would like to get complete calipers with slider pins boots and brackets for all 4 corners. I already have pads and clips. Rock auto seems to be out of stock of their models that come with brackets. I did see some at partsgeek made by a1cardone (reman), however I read mixed things about a1cardone. Any suggestions?? Thanks!

Do you really need new brackets? Otherwise I would say rockauto for sure.

The other source is to see if a JY near you has the brackets you need.

Other part suppliers are mazdatrix, black dragon, and maybe racing beat.

Thanks for the reply!
Yeh I knew about mazdatrix and racing beat and I have looked around at black dragon. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything big. My biggest concern is the slider pins and boots as mine are damaged. Would a caliper come with these even if there is no bracket? Would you recommend any specific brand, or more importantly avoid any? Thanks so much!

All I have is a pic of one of the two rear calipers for an 84 GSL I got from Black Dragon.

Not sure if that helps.

Thanks. Is black dragon phone order only? Because I couldn't find an online store. Does anyone know the quality of the a1cardones?

I think Black Dragon is phone only.
That's how I've always used them.

You can order on-line.

1. Click on the "SHOP I-CATALOG" at the top of the page.
2. Click on the part number of the item you want.
3. A window will pop up where you can enter quantity

It's a very clunky web site and not well suited for ordering on-line.

You won't be able to get the boots anymore, I bought the last ones from I think mazdatrix if I
remember right when I rebuilt my SA calipers. I couldn't source anything but driver side calipers
when I did this earlier this year so I opted to rebuild my existing ones.

That's a shame... Black dragon seems to have complete ones that come with everything including pins and boots and brackets so I will probs go that route
