I just like Gaudy, I suppose, but I could settle for the second type....still, it's all up to Manntis' subcontractors...

Well, actually, by gaudy, I really mean it has a hard, high-tech look that I like....does NO ONE share my sentiments???...

What exactly makes the first one ricey or gaudy? The fact that the speedo and tach have that circle of blue lit up? It looks good, and if thats the one thats made I'd buy it, but i prefer the 2nd one. The third one is terrible, I would definatly NOT buy that one, too much lit up.

I have the 3rd style in currently on my Infiniti. You can change the colors from green, turquoise, blue, light blue, and violet. You can also change how bright it is lit up at night. It is the only style offered for my car so I took it. I would settle for it b/c it's still better than the original, but like you guys I would prefer the 2nd style. 1st style is cool too.

When the time comes, we'll just have to start a new thread with a voting poll for who likes which style best (assuming these 3 will be the ones available) and the majority shall rule.

revive the thread! make sure that this is for real, and that it can actually be done in a decent timeframe. in my opinion, if this works, and its the 2nd style, that will look awesome with my new gauges im getting and maybe the a pillar i might be getting as well.

Considering he has 11 posts and registered this month, I'd lay a bet he's talking about '84 - '85.....

He does have an '82, so you'd think he'd notice the difference...

OK...just use the this latest box to get the list and add your name...just hit QUOTE on this box and add your name to the end of the list with a "[*]" in front of your name to build the list....once done, delete the "(quote=******)" from the beginning and the "(/quote)" from the tail end of the whole mess and then "submit" to keep the list buildable for the next dedicated 1983 RX-7 enthusiast...keep using the latest version of this box...we're getting closer!!

I was just wondering if anyone saw this thread? They seem to be a bit high in price, not reverse indiglo, and in metric, but they do supposedly exist - kind of. Theyre available in different colors.

They're like the third option of the ones I posted earlier....since it's an Aussie site, the dials are also in KM/H....I like the site for all it's color options, though...

Yeah, saw that. Very professional looking job, and the guy was asking $25,000 U.S. for it. Well worth the price methinks. Especially considering there aren't many DeLoreans around, and that particular one could hold its own against many exotics worth ten times that much.

But I still want to do the 20B conversion on my '85 GSL at some point in time. I'll find a pristine GSL-SE to keep stock.
