1982 Stock Replacement muffler options?

The old one fell off finally and DANG it is LOUD. Looked around for bolt on stock replacement options and don't see much. One is on eBay for $125 for the 1982 and looks like a direct fit for my dual pipe exhaust. Any others out there?

They are expensive at the parts stores. Go to Blackdragonauto.com and get a catalogue. They aren't that expensive and hold up. I got my replacement from there and it worked

Mazdatrix makes bolt on muffers. Then it goes downhill. Monza 2 inch with dual chrome tips. and Bozal, really crappy single outlet muffler. Not worth the money and looks like podo.

Not sure if you mean Bosal or not Vashner. Bosal is the company that made the FC mufflers at least. I'm not sure if they made the 1st Gen mufflers or not. They are a good company but expensive

Racing beat

/thread

You might even be able to find a good used one on the for sale section of this sight, they are designed to hold up to the heat of the rotary, and you dont see people selling used flowmasters do ya?

RB mufflers are resold for a reason. THEY LAST!

So do it once, do it right!

There really isn't any option other than Racing Beat's Power Pulse mufflers as far as quiet bolt-on stuff. Don't cheap out on this one, trust me.

Black Dragon doesn't have a stock replacement for '81-'82. All they have is their terrible Monza mufflers.
