Aight for #1 you should be able to use this to help ya out, helped me out. http://www.iluvmyrx7.com

#2 alot of it is for the carb cover, the blue filter holding box. but there is 1 off the nest that should be connected to the carb. the 2 y looking pipes comming off the top are for the gas lines. i suggest ripping the rats nest out once you get it to pass emissions.

#3 its the same as #2, most of that goes to the blue filter box.

#4 dont ask me i have no f'in clue that that is. that has to be after market and still dont know what it is.

pic 4 looks like a school bell, maybe some hillbilly style alarm. just take it off.
as for the other's, cap off 3,5,6 and don't worry about 1,2,4,7. when i ran a stock carb, i never used those. but like the previous post, remove all that ****. u'll probably later on get an aftermarket carb anyway.

5 and 7 attach to each other ... (there should be a hose that looks like the thats comming off of 7.

Also I think that there's another one that you're missing that should be going from beside 5 to the back where the other end of 7 attaches (also in the same style hose)

#4 is a rare Bolted Back Turtle. They are endangered. You must have picked him up somewhere. Did you remove your undershields ? Do NOT let him bite you. He will not let go until RX-8's have stock Savannah mirrors.

Thumbs up

So, I had a bad fusable link and I just went down and got some 2nd gen fuses out of a junk yard and replaced a few fuses under the dash. I have power now and it turns over, the water pump I believe is seized but I haven't tried to break it free but it does turn over. The front rotor I get three good whooshes and the back rotor I got nothing so I went down and got some MMO and just put it in the engine to sit overnight. I am going to drain the oil in the morning and then put some fresh oil and gas in it. Is there anything else I might want to do before attempting to start?

cleaning the spark plugs, (might want to also check if there's spark coming out too or not.) might want to also cehck if the fuel pump works or not (when you try to crank it, you should hear a little ticking sound coming from underneath the car right under the driver side bin. umm ... if the engine doesn't want to run regularly, then you might want to pour some gas down the carb and see if that would get you anything (or you could also spray down some carb cleaner that usualy jump starts it better.
