My 1980 has 2 small plastic lines that go from under the water pump area- passenger side, to the carb. I was wondering, is that the oil metering pump lines? Also, how are those affected by the use of a racing beat carb set up?
In the picture, the lines are right in front of the water pump.

You t the two lines in to one line then run the one line to the side of the front bowl of the Holley, where the sight plug is. The rb kit comes with all the instructions and it really easy to put together.

 

Yep that the OMP or MOP, however you want to refer to it. And its not 80s specific, most modern
Mazda rotaries have this in some form. Even the RX8s.

The RB setup, as mentioned should account for this in the installation. It did for my RB Dellorto.
