Carl. thank you very much for your efforts and help for us, too far away to go ourselves. I'll make sure to put something in your Christmas stocking.

Normally, yes, the center vents are accessible from the back side of the dash. A friend and forum member here recently replaced them in one of his cars. He found a nifty shortcut, posted on an Aussie site where you just replace the veins instead of the whole unit. You can accomplish it from the front side with out removing the dash.

Centre dash vents.... how to fix them... - www.RX7fb.com

I'd be delicate when attempting this as the outside vent housing is attached to the back of the dash with 4 small screws (1 at each corner). The vents are very prone to breaking at one or more of these mounting points, so if your too aggressive when trying to insert the veins, you could break the housing and be back to square one and pulling the dash.

Just a reminder for Frogman that I still have his fender and stuff sitting in my driveway. I would like to have it paid for and out of my driveway by Christmas. When you see my driveway you might wonder why I care. Just the principle I guess. ;-)

1980 SA22 Front Bumper/Lip

Hey guys! I recently bought a 1980 rx7 SA22! It was overall complete and restored from the interior. The only thing really bothering me is the lip on the front bumper. It looks like someone got hungry and bit off the ends of it! Does anyone know if they sell the lip itself or how to remake from a molding into fiberglass if possible? Let me know if you want pictures i'd love for you guys to see it!

We would love to see your car! Its best to create a thread specifically about your car in the builds sub section here in the 1st Gen section. This way you can document all of the progress you make!

@Carl If it's a passenger fender and Frogman doesn't take it. How much shipped to 37920?

It is a drivers fender. The passenger fender was damaged at the bottom rear end, most likely by the yard workers moving the car around.

I am hoping that Frogman just went on vacation after finishing his law school finals and will eventually get back to me.

Merry Christmas
