1979 RX7 Clutch Help
My brother has a very clean 79 RX7, but he roasted the clutch in it. I told him that i would help out, but since i know little to nothing about the Rotary engine these things use, i thought i would ask. Is there anything hard or tricky, or somethin to watch out for while doing this? I've done multiple clutches to various cars, including my Fiero's, and I used to be a Mechanic (wich is why i always ask what i am getting into) Sooooo... Any help?
Thanks in advance!

About the only thing that is non standard is the 2 1/8 nut holding the flywheel on. Everything else is very similar to any other car with a manual trans.
Oh, the pilot bearing is a bit of a pain to pull, but if the rollers in are ok, don't bother with it

don't even need to pull the flywheel off.. and BELIEVE ME.. getting that sucker off is a PAIN IN THE #@%.. but changing the clutch doesn't require even touching it. Same as any other RWD car, extremely easy, can probably be done in an hour.

depends on time contraints. I have never had a day to spare to have a car down. I usally end up working on the thing late at night and to have the flywheel off for a day is just not feasable. So i usually end up having just a minor sanding do the job.
