best bet (and cheapest) would be to get a new dash cap. I have a 79 as well in need of a new dash.

well, i saw dash kits for the second generation rx7's, just wondering if their were any for the first generations ones, because my cd deck doesnt fit to well in the stock dash kit, so a dash cap wouldnt do to much.

I think you are stating what you are looking for incorrectly. From what I'm gathereing you are looking for the center console trim or a kit to mount your stereo in the center console?

There is a Australian member, 13beef, I think that is his forum name that has done carbon fiber center consoles. Do a search under either carbon fiber in this section or in the 1st gen parts section and see what turns up.

if you're looking for a dash board, any of the 81-83 will fit. Only requires few mod in the center console/tranny shifter area.

Hey, isn't it past your bedtime
If you would stop skimming thru the threads you would of seen that his nomenclature was incorrect on what he was looking for. He's looking for something like 13beefs carbon fiber center console trim.
