195/60-14 or 205/60-14

Once and for all!

I am ordering the new tires this week for my newly refinished LE wheels (thanks again steve) and I have read a bunch of posts about which tire to run.

My confusion comes from the fact that the LE had 14" rims with the 195/60-14 as the stock tires and the GSL-SE had 205/60-14 as the stock tires as well.

Acording to the tire rotation program my speedo will be off 2 MPH at 60 if I go with the 205's vs my orig 185's.

I am not too concerned with the 2MPH as I am with rubbing....

Can anyone answer me who has LE rims with either tire on them.

And to the "threadjackers" please dont turn this into a "what color should I paint my brake calipers", or "send me pics". post or some other crap like that.

Thank you
Jason

i went with the 195 60 14's with my le wheels just because they were the stock size tire.
i wouldnt worry about 205's rubbing at all though. my se has 215's on it right now and they dont even rub.

Go with 205s, more tire means more grip. Oh, and you're welcome.....

I have 195's, have had 205's, I just like the look of a smaller tire with the sidewall streched. 205's or 215's will give you more grip though.
