16.5 quarter... amazed

I went to the track for the first time in my 7... and i got a 16.5... hell ya, i was thinking i was going to run a 17 or so maybe if i got lucky i would run a 16. Its completely stock besides the 2nd gen oil cooler and radiator... but ya im truly amazed... i love my 7

Hey fatmanslim247, was that run at International? I would love to go with ya sometime. Then the announcer can punk us both. My 7 is basically stock as well.

I'm not sure what your skill level with draggin is, but just think that you can probably shave a second off with drag tires and a little experience. Weeee!

with 16.5 quarter mile times, i dont think his car was spinning so much that it would make that significant a difference. What did you trap?
