I would love absolutely love to know why I am getting like......5 maybe mpg. I think it needs a lot of tune-ups. Well maybe the fact I don't have a dip stick my plugs are from god knows what and the wires are I dunno. The filter on it is a fram the oil is a mixture of stuff cause I'm worried I don't have enough in the car cause I have no oil level sensor and no dip stick cause it's broken (little rubber piece is broke), I run premix I don't have the thing timed right i think and I don't make nearly enough money to fix all of this. SO EVERYONE COUNT YOUR DAMN BLESSINGS!

Edit: Did I forget to say I still have no oil pressure gauge hooked up?

BUT HEY I GOTTA HAVE A CAR TO DRIVE TO WORK AND SCHOOL.

Damn I though I was bad but I think my miles per gallon are going to be alot better now with the 2GCDFIS mod and going to try to tune my timing tomorrow morning. Then I will refill my gas thank and see if I get the same miles per gallon like I was before.

The car needs a dip stick and a 84 rx7 oil pan with an ol level sensor. I have the parts to hook up my oil pressure gauge, but not having time puts a burden on it. I just don't have the time to do it, plus I can't mount the gauge anywhere yet I'm trying to think of an inexpensive way of doing it. I tihnk I'm going to get a rectangular plastic peice cut the proper holes in them then glue that to the stereo install plastic bottom peice, I'm gonna use some good epoxy for this. It's a good thing my 9th grade science fair project was in plastic epoxies.

Would using sparks plugs that have already been flooded cause low gas mileage, because they don't create a big enough spark or the accelerator pump set to rich? Just trying to think of other reasons for low gas mileage.

Yeah, those plugs will certainly hurt your mileage.

I avg 20MPG combination city/highway with SP 12a, RB exhaust, Holly intake with 600 Edelbrock. That's driving about avg.

Well, I did a timing tune up this morning, My leading was off so I line it up and then my trailing when off so I line that up as well. So now they both should be just about right. Now going to get some SeaFoam and add that to my tank to clean up the system up. Hopefully I should see a big increase on miles per gallon.

I like my REPU too, even tho I only get about 15mpg, but the high CG feels insecure while cornering.

My 83GS got 22mpg when it was new and for the first 10 yrs, but now it only gets about 15. I'm wondering if fuel composition changed and the 7 oughta be retuned for it. I think the engine is almost as good as new, even with 130k miles (I'm the only driver and I pre-mix 2-cycle, about 1/2 oz. per gallon).
