Booked it in at the tuners for next thursday the 29th, at PPRE, the guys who built the motor/car for Mad Mike here in NZ, really good guys. Been told to expect 350 rwhp!!

i'd go with slightly stiffer springs if i'd do it again...
Righto...
Yep, has been a while since i posted on here, and quite a bit of development has taken place.
I have since completed everything i needed to to get it running, including starting up the engine i had, as it was... Turned bad very quickly. Thats the last time i trust someones word on a "low km" engine. I took it to the tuners, smoked out the dyno room and then oil pressure disappeared!!
So a week or so after, I stripped it down, to find some seriously worm stationary gear bearings (low oil pressure culprit) and the rear rotor covered in nice black wet oil (smoking culprit). The oil control o-rings were as loose as a goose, no good.
I managed to find a cheap 13bt rebuild kit from the Mazda dealer here in town, got the seals changed over to 2mm, and booked some time off work.
Have since rebuilt the engine (and YES i did measure everything and all the bits i reused were excellant condition.), painted it, put it in the car (for the 10th time i swear!! haha), built up oil pressure, and it fired staright into life. No leaks, oil and water good as gold, oil pressure nice and high... Stoaked!
Have done about 25km, can't rev past 4500rpm at the moment (going to the tuner on Tuesday this week), but damn its nice and smooth to drive!
A few pics

Installed the side seals on both rotors and prepped to install

I applaud you on such a nice clean build. Be warned though. I just found out the hard way that pushing the 400hp mark can destroy your trans. I just sheared the teeth off the input shaft gear, and the counter shaft. O'well. I just had to rebuild the trans
