13B, Yes I Searched
i was wondering that if i get a 13B out of an 86, can i use the same 5-speed transmision i have in my stock 81 GS. And can i use the RB front engine mount for this, even though it says it mounts 84-85 13Bs.

(How can a search not come up with this?)
To answer your questions, all '74-newer non turbo transmissions interchange with all '74-newer non turbo engines. The only difficulty (a minor one) is in fitting the trans to a particular chassis, but since you are keeping the trans, there are no worries at all.
Yes you can use the RB front mount. The issue is that the FC does not use the front cover for its engine mounts. You need to use a pre-FC front cover. The FC engine has four oil metering pump lines, so you need an OMP that has four lines. OMPs generally are not interchangeable, so you need to find a pre-86 front cover that has an OMP with four lines - there is only one, the GSL-SE front cover.
In addition, the FC oil pan will not fit the chassis. Easiest thing is to get a GSL-SE oil pan. I *believe* but I am not certain that the FC oil pickup will not fit, you'll need the -SE pickup.

No special tools needed.
Update - the 12A pickup is the same as the GSL-SE pickup. Defnitely different from the FC pickup. So you yank the pan from your 12A, grab the pickup, stuff it on the FC engine, and put a GSL-SE oil pan under it, after you're done putting the GSL-SE front cover on, of course. (Much easier than putting the front cover on after the oil pan is in place)
You know, you would think that the usual sources would sell a complete setup - new oil pan, new front cover, new OMP - all ready to go. Plenty of people swapping FC engines into 1st-gens, at any rate.
