Im looking to swap the first gens drivetrain with a 13b engine and trans. I think its time i get started on gathering parts. Ive had a brand new t3/t4 in my room for a few months waiting to go in something so that should come in handy eventually. But for now, I need to get a 13b engine and tranny. What are some of the safer, trusted places to get good motors?

 

actually, feel free to post and negative experiences/stories you've heard of places too that I may want to steer clear of.

whats wrong with the t3/t4?

 

Its too small for a rotary. Its actually a downgrade from the stock turbo from what I have read. The turbine side of the turbo is too small and will choke the engine.

 

lol, thats awesome, guess ill need to get rid of the turbo then

 

what do u need a t3/t4 for? u don't need a fast spooling turbo on a rotary, theres enough exhaust gasses to make up for it lol

 

well like i said the turbos been here for sometime, i just picked up the 79 recently
