13b trans on a 12a

i bought a 85 gsl-se body for a 12a motor i had and i forgot that that body came with a 13b. Can i mount a 13b transmition on my 12a motor so the driveshaft will connect to the diff, or should i just modify the driveshaft? If the transmittion will mount what clutch and pressure plate should i use 12a or 13b
thanks i appreciate it

If you are running the 12A motor you MUST run a 12A flywheel and Clutch... NO QUESTIONS!
I am running a 12a driveshaft on a 13B motor... opposite but the same. The tranny is the same length and the 13b driveshafts are interchangeable if I am not mistaken. I used a 12A driveshaft with my 13b at one time with no problems. It should be a bolt and go deal...
