No, first gen parts only go into first gen cars.

Now, step 2. Do a search and find out if I am lying.

No hardcore mods needed, just a decent knowledge of engine systems,EFI and wiring digrams.

The S4 engine is the easiest to do,and even the N/A FC engine is a nice boost over a carbed 12A.Its been done and done again, although most are not 100% hence not smog legal. The S4 EFI is rudementary and doesnt really care if you strip the smog gear or dont get all the rats nest stuff working. But you do have to get the needed sensors and input/output devices hooked up,thats where modest knowledge of EFI and wiring is required.Ive done both S4 and S5 swaps into my 84,both smog legal certified in CA.Its not too hard, but its not a first timers type job either.

Seems to be a lot of good SE's out there now. You get a lot of stuff including a core that way. With enough money you can put whatever in it. Like the defilers.. (piston engine installers)...

if you put a 13b where a 12a belongs, your going to mess up the handling. 13b is bigger displacement, so OBVIOUSLY its going to weigh more. Cars should not have their engines swapped!

The 13B came with the 1st gen, and the GSL-SE use the same body as a GS or whatever. Also, the 13B that came with the GSL-SE has heavier rotors than the S4.

LOL! You're not going to mess up handling from that small of a weight gain. First-gens aren't perfectly balanced from the factory anyway. If you're really concerned about it, do some basic weight reduction in front. The AC system alone is basically the weight difference between a 12A and 13B, IIRC. You can even re-balance an FB with an NA 20B (about 70-80 lbs. heavier than a 13B according to Jeff20B) simply by removing unnecessary things from the engine bay and relocating the battery to the rear of the hatch area.

ok hold up a few of you. there are better was of doing a couple of things. first check out the greek 7 thats being built or do what i did till i got my racing beat mount in. hold on i have some pics for you.

you will notice that there is a slight difference in the profiles of the stock pieces. i beat the flatter one with a sledge hammer. so there i was being cheap. top one is racing beat middle is the one i beat the bottom one is the stock gs 12a mount. also the best thing i can suggest is that i would go with either a complete S5 engine harness or the complete gslse harness that does everything under the dash engine for the fuel pump everything. yes it is a pain to get it in to the car but it is worth it im telling you. the greek 7 has used the stock engine mounting points and custom fabricated mounts that fit right into the stock FB locations. very cool. talk to technoid i think that how you spell it about fuel tank modifications after much thinking id do the in tank fuel pump mod to eliminate a lot of hassle that i have with the current setup

here is the link to the greek 7 so sit down and learn something this is what that search button can find you
