Hello I just finished putting a 13b from a 85 se into my 84 gsl. The transplant went well I not only changed the motor but also the complete wiring harness and dash(I had a dash fire and the car that I bought for parts had a good 13b but no frame)To get back to the motor it starts within the first 5 secs of cranking but dies within 10 if
I don`t touch the throttle and faster if I do. I also changed the fuel pump to the injection pump.
Any suggestions?

Sounds like it's not getting the right fuel pressure.

 

If it isn't that then I'm thinking it's vacuum related. Double check all your lines.

 

sounds like you are running out of fuel. you put the right fuel filter on as well too right?
