13b na in TII housing

Hi,
Is it possible to use NA 13b rotors from a 2nd gen in a motor from a TII?

possible it is, wether it's wise is something else...
You'd get higher compression, so you will have to pay extra attention to getting enough fuel in under boost. I believe you want to build a TII engine, but use NA rotors? Or do you want an NA, but use TII housings? The later would work fine, the first is a risk. Also make sure the balance is right. Try mazdatrix site to see the weight differences. As far as I know (but I guess others should either confirm or deny this, as I'm not too sure) you can use parts if they're from the same series (4 or 5). So you could use NA rotors in a TII engine, or vice versa. But they must be the same series. Otherway the balance would be gone, and the rotors would either be to heavy or to light for the E-shaft and flywheel rotation weight. But again: it's nothing I'm too sure off.

I have a TII engine with TII rotors and am running it NA with a carbie. I wan't to use high compression rotors. Would this be an expensive/difficult swap to do?

Browney, you would want to port it then too, because the TII ports are small.
