13b 6al won't start

So I've wired up my 6al box using this diagram
I have gutted the leading igniter this way and this way and I have made sure it was at TDC twice using this video,
and I still cant get it to start. I have spark. I have fuel. Am I missing something? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure the 12A version of this conversion will work for the GSL-SE?

For a carb engine, yes. This is what I did - first a 12A with a Niki then on my current 13B with a weber

if you spray something flammable into the intake does it start? if yes then you need to hook up the ECU's tach signal wire so it can turn on the injectors

no ECU. It's carbed. It won't even start with starting fluid.

I have leading spark but no trailing spark. I read in another thread that it should still start without trailing spark. Also when I try to start it it's popping out the exhaust.

What terminal did you connect to on your ignition switch?

Sounds like the dizzy isn't timed/clocked correctly.

it's push button, so it just needs power and to be wired to the starter.

So you the thick red wire going to thw battery and the smaller red ignition switched 12v wire going where?

Sounds like you have trailing spark but no leading spark.

i don't know how your car is setup, but a stock 84-85 car won't run the fuel pump if the trailing ignition isn't hooked up/working

the motor is in a 510. The fuel pump runs independently through a separate switch.

im talking about these wires my guy. Where are you getting your 12v sources. Big one goes to the battery, small one goes to the ignition switch so where are you getting your switched 12v power?

I have the small red from the msd going to a fuse box and a wire going from + on the coil to a distribution block, so the coil has power when the kill switch is on.
