13B With 12A Nikki Project Underway!

Got started on the project last night, I am running a 2nd gen 13B and am having a carb rebuilt and modified at www.Yawpower.com. I am using the carb from a 12A motor and am fabbing a custom intake setup to bolt the carb to.. I am using 1 inch tubing from the upper plate that holds the carb itself down the the stock (polished internally) manifold. This should be interesting to see how it turns out. Stay tuned for pics and results..

Youll like it!!

Before going EFI,thats the setup I ran, except it was a 76 13B-4 port. The Yaw Nikki had plenty of flow for 7000+rpm and it was clean and crisp. The jetting was actually very close to my 12A jetting it came with, from Paul.I only had to bump the secondaries up one size, the rest worked fine as it was.

That's cool! I was thinking about something similar. I've got a stock 13B carby manifold I was thinking about using someday with a modded 12A Nikki.

Let us know the progress!
