12at going in

hi people.

just thought i'd update what i said about 4 weeks ago. my 12at is finally going in tomorrow (saturday). out comes the 12a and in goes the 12at into my 1984 SE7EN

um, just abit confused about sumthing. i have 4 oil lines going to the housing and inlet manifold. connected to the oil line to the inlet manifold are these plugs looking like injectors, sumhow controlled by a vaccum hose coming out of the top. anyone know what these are? they are also located above the oil line in the housing, more plugs, but not acually connected to the oil lines?

its confusing to read, i know. don't know how else to put it. but anyway, all i'm doing is bolting it in, and my rotor mechanic will do the dump pipe to zorst mod, fit the microtech computer and tune it, oh also fit the efi gear.

anyway, i'll post up later how it goes.

yes taking pics.

Its finally in!!

on 24th of september my mechanic has time to put in microtech computer, efi fuel pump, and surge tank to suit the series 3

putting on s4 intercooler at the front next week and buying s5 turbo manifold for the 12a so i can mount my s5 turbocharger on it as i hook up the intercooler piping.

just gotta shorten the "turbo" inlet pip that runs from the turbo to the throttle body, its not steel but a porcelin type surface, not sure if i can cut the bottom of it and shorten so i can plumb pipe to it. but u neva know.

bought a adjustable boost controller, mechanis is fitting it, going to run 5psi, and 10psi, not sure how much the 12a can take, for now.

then after thats done i'm going to drive it!! lol

The injectors you refer to sound like they are in fact the oil injectors. I would assume that the vaccum line has something to do with making sure the oil goes in and not out when the system is pressurised by boost rather than being in a vaccum.
