does anyone have or know where i can buy a 1979 wiper rack, mine has seized thanks

 

Rebuild it. Just remove those little ring clips on top of the shafts, bang the shafts out, clean them up, lube like crazy and reinstall it. Worked for me

 

i couldnt get mine to bang out. you can use 79-85 wiper rack. start checking junkyards. I got mine for 35.00 from a local junkyard.

 

Yea, some are so stuck you can't get them apart. I rebuilt the one from my parts car and then put it in my S, which had a locked up rack. Getting that rack apart sucked ***. PB Blaster is god, just use a ton of that and let it soak for a day or two and it will come apart. mine did at least.
