12A with Weber 45DCOE - baseline tuning help

I just bought a '79 with a 45DCOE carb. Previous owner intended to turbo charge the car, so the carb was prepared appropriately.

I believe it's much too rich for an NA car, so I'm looking for some guidelines on choke/jet baseline from someone who has gone through tuning one of these carbs. I have a couple of books on tuning them, but obviously their baseline suggestions are all for piston engines and I'm not sure how well those suggestions relate to my rotary.

It has a header, but is otherwise a stock 12A with electronic distributor.

Thanks in advance.

Idle Jets=65f8 or f9 or perhaps 60F9
Main Jets=175 - 190
Air Correctors 230 starting point might have to go lower
Emulsion Tube - F11
Needle & Seat =250 maybe a 300
pump jet =45
Chokes 36 or 38 depending
Auxiliary chokes=4.5
Fuel presure = 4.5
Vacum advance should be disconnected and plugged.

those are some starting points... you might have to go slightly higher or lower...
but it should get you going...

Awesome, that's exactly what I was looking for - a place to start.

Looking at those, I may not be as far off as I first thought.

Thanks.
