12a Turbo update

My new setup is almost done I had my old setup running for a month or two before I decided to tear apart and change basically everything.

Old Setup: Stock 12a, Nikki carb, ported j-spec 12aT manifold, TII turbo, ported wastegate, 2.5" stainless exhaust, no intercooler, tyfoon bov

New Setup: 12a is studded and street ported, Rotaryshack apex seals, TII turbo spaced out 1", ported wastegate, custom intake manifold made from 1.5" tube, weber 48dco-sp, two TII intercooler cores welded together, tyfoon bov, 2.5" stainless exhaust

I'll put up a bunch of pics as soon as I can. And unless something really bad happens, the car will be at the rotary revolution

-Matt

Just another update. Car will NOT be at the Rotary Revolution. Tried to start it, and there was a huge coolant leak. Turns out one of the rear coolant seals isn't seated right and the rear rotor housing is just filling with coolant, ****. Engine has to come back apart and replace that seal.

They are a better material, and have a much bigger corner piece, still 2 piece.

I sold the nikki, didn't like how it ran at all and didn't want to mess with it.

Oh, I didn't have them in yet in those pics I sent you. I just drilled holes in that manifold and jb welded in the vacuume fittings I needed.

Thats a real bummer.

That car is going to be FAST. I bet your making at least 300 hp at the flywheel.

It's a manual boost controller, just a bleeder valve from home depot. I'll probably just plug the wastegate lines now.

Yeah, it really sucks that I can't take it to the rotary revolution now. It'll probably be another 2 weeks before I start driving it now.

Yeah, it'll be around 300, cause that's what the TII turbo's max out at.
