Wow, an actual CarTech kit, I've never seen one for sale before. Kinda makes me wish I had the cash, those kits are supposed to be really good. I would like to have an intercooler though, for safeties sake.

If you're concerned about safety then you DO NOT want an intercooler on a draw-through system.
Maybe I should think before I type eh?

The other thing is, you need a much bigger carby to make the same power as you're not forcing the air through under pressure. This can make it a pig to drive off boost. Someone said something about hard starting which can also be a problem. They can be made to go hard though. There was a 9sec Mazda 808 here a few years back running a draw-through Weber. I think the carb was modified to something like 55mm.
