12A Turbo setup for sale

I saw this. I know it's draw through, but this should be
a one day operation.

Wow, an actual CarTech kit, I've never seen one for sale before. Kinda makes me wish I had the cash, those kits are supposed to be really good. I would like to have an intercooler though, for safeties sake.

If you're concerned about safety then you DO NOT want an intercooler on a draw-through system.

draw through is **** IMO

no intercooling, and much harder starting in some appications.

I'd rather have a blow through system, or even go EFI if I had the money.

I'd think about buying that but draw through doesn't seem like that great of an idea. Would the kit be very good even with draw through?

Maybe I should think before I type eh?

Nah, that'd take too much time.

You can't run an intercooler because fuel can condense and puddle up inside the core. This means you have to use some other form of charge cooling like water injection... or run some naaawz. The other thing is, you need a much bigger carby to make the same power as you're not forcing the air through under pressure. This can make it a pig to drive off boost. Someone said something about hard starting which can also be a problem.

They can be made to go hard though. There was a 9sec Mazda 808 here a few years back running a draw-through Weber. I think the carb was modified to something like 55mm.
