12a turbo mani, where to get one?
im begining the process of my turbo 12a build and ive done ALOT of research but nobody says where they get the turbo exhaust manifold that will fit on their 12a, i was going to build one but i think it would be way easier to just buy one if i could.
any help?
any help?

Yeah, shutup kid.
Yeah, if you want to use a TII turbo all you need to do is slot the bolt holes and grind the exhaust paths inward to match the 12a exhaust gasket. My car with the stock 12a, nikki carb, and TII turbo at 12 or 14psi dynoed at 200rwhp 210tq. If you want a bigger turbo you should really port the engine and an exhaust manifold will need to be custom.

Just about everything needs upgraded I was using a GSL-SE fuel pump, which is the minimum pump you can get away with. You need a fuel pressure regulator that increases fuel pressure with boost. The nikki carb needs modified to handle boost and needs tuned with a wideband O2, but so does any setup. Need to drill and tap the front cover or weld a fitting to the top of the oil pan for the turbo oil drain. Need an oil feed for the turbo, I just used a T fitting at the gauge sensor, which isn't the best way but it works. The distributor needs the mechanical advance locked. I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things but that's most of it.

i thought it took a lot more than that but for some reason your other post made it sound to me like you just slapped it on. I definitely wanna go turbo some day but I'm gonna need some help for sure cuz a lot of stuff that needs to be done is still over my head.

Whoops, forgot about that part too.... My first setup I used a 12aTurbo intake manifold, so it boletd right up. For the normal 12a intake you need a spacer, either stack up some exhaust flanges or make a spacer between the turbo and manifold.
I'll try to find my old build threads for ya, me and quite a few others have already gone over all this stuff before.

That's what I was wondering. I'm using an RB wraparound sidedraft manifold on a 4-port 13B and my S5 turbo needs about 3/8" worth of spacers. The turbine housing and one of the intake runners had to be clearanced for it to just barely fit and still clear the idler arm. Everything is very tight; if I had stock motor mounts, the turbo would probably smack into the idler arm a lot.
The stock intake manifold sticks out even further, even if you grind away the ACV area. If you take two header flanges and weld some 2" pipes between them at an angle, such that it spaces the turbo forward a little bit, as well as outward, it should fit better.
