12A Turbo GSL-SE UPDATE ...PICS/Vid....Questions.....

Well its time for an update,

This is the shell that I traded my FC for, the engine is a 12A street port.

This Turbo kit is for the Webber IDA, its an old HKS kit.. well only S... SIGMA

Here are some pictures, sorry for the quality from a camcorder.

Boost and Wideband

Engine

Top view carb hat

My NOOB turbo

A little Video..

Now for my Questions....

The Carb hat has 3 fittings, one goes to a tee boost gauge + Raising Rate Fuel Press Vac source.

The second one goes to the blowoff Valve (see pic and Vid)

The third is open... Im thinking maybe Vaccum from the Brake Booster...

Another loose fitting that I have goes from the WasteGate to a mechanical boost press Regulator from there it goes to the BOV .. Does this also need to attach to the Air filter?? through a T? Because the cone filter has an open fitting..

any and all help appreciated.

Im a NOOB in TURBO applications.. But I try...

Another Question

So did some more research.. and It does not seem that my turbo has a pressure control valve.. or a place to hook it to... How do I compensate for the lack of this valve?

yeah I would think the third would be brakes, on my carb I have 1 to BOV, 1 to guage and FPR, and 1 to the Brake Booster.
when you hook up your brake booster be sure to put in a 1 way check valve so the brake booster only sees vacume not boost.

search the forum user name seanrot i believe thats his old turbo kit.
remove the top of the carburator and examine the float. what is it made out of? what color is it?

your brake booster should hook up to the intake manifold close to the engine to get pleanty of vacum.

you need a boost source for the fpr, wastegate, boost guage and blowoff valve
