ok so i changed my oil put mobil 5w30 in it so far so good
then i put a set of ngk plugs wire on it even better response
then i put a set of ngk plugs in the recomended ones from the FAQ's and it idles up warms up drives then if u put it back in park it idles for about 10 minutes then die's then takes forever befor it wants to start again wtf did i do???? please help! i have a 400mile trip on sunday i need to get this worked out as fast as possible

 

You need to see if the trailing side is firing when you are having the restart problem. Is the tach moving when you are cranking it after it shuts off?

 

Is it running really rich? Maybe the plugs are getting covered with soot from a rich idle mixture...

 

I would not dare to bring that car on the trip. You better rent a car. We had people all the time come to the mechanic shop that were out of town and couldnt get back.

 

well this happend after 30 minutes of drifting and i got to thinking hmm maybe water in the tank well i went and got some HEET for it put it in the tank shook the car let it sit for about an hour then started it up it warmed up idled ofcourse it did die in reverse like it always restarted right up then back into reverse then into drive drove it for 20 minutes came back parked it let it idle for a good bit and no trouble's musta been water in the tank and suckec up some in the lines last night

so yea ready for sunday
