Racing Beat Holly Carb/intake
Can anyone tell me the proper jet sizes for this set up on a street ported 12A with the Racing Beat Holly/Intake/ headers.
The car seems to run extremly rich at low RPM's Any idea on what the proper Fuel /Air ratio should be? The car is at sea level. Do they traditionally run rich at low R.P.M's
Any help would be greatly appreciated?
Paul

I know from Racing Beat it comes with .050 jets, and they say run 6 psi. Also they put a Holley Plain Secondary Spring. Now that is just a starting point.
On mine .050 were WAY to much, I put in .048 and a light "yellow" secondary spring and got good response, up untill i got crap in the carb from old fuel lines. I took the carb apart and cleaned it and gettting ready to put it back on.

what size carb do you have ? if its a 600 cfm try some 65 and air should be @ about 2 1/2 turns front and rear , it also would not hurt to advance the timming a **** hair.
