12A Throttle cable on a Holley

I have just put on the RB Headers and intake with a holley and it runs. Of course it is very loud, staright pipe. Anyway, I have ordered the Lokar cable assembly for the car but is there another way I can run the stock throttle cable or will it just not reach like it looks.

1980 RX7 with mild mods. Exhaust and Intake.

YES you can run an OEM throttle cable..heres your choices..

Find a spare ALT braket.. and you can use that to hold tension on the cable then attach it the the throttle linkage of the carb..

Or you can just buy the Holley/throttle braket kit from RacingBeat..both are easy...

That cable that your buying is probally 3 times more than the kit from RB..

I have used a ALT braket for year..but its time to get the right **** from RB..

Its not on thier web site..so you need to call. Its like $15.
