I have a 12a that is said to have come from a car in Japan

Is there anyway of telling if this true??

Alternator has a Brando 2310 9.5 x 7.9 LA belt on it.(does this help)

The motor has carb and dist. etc.

There is a valve (fairly large) mounted in the centre of engine between the carb and emission switches.
(maybe this tells the year?)


Any help please. I would sure be grateful

 

What color is the breather box?? Is it a 6 port or a 4 port??
