I took the butterfly out of the primary port on my stock intake (84 GSL) and filled the holes with Epoxy and ground it smooth. I also rebuilt carb and am having problems tuning it now, seems to be running really lean and am wondering if removing that butterfly is causing some of the problem. What is its function and did I screw up removing it?
