ok so i did the mech secondaries mod on my nikki works great i love it, but my motor didnt like is i guess..
i let my friend drive it to take his gf to the doctor and go to the store. he said he was gonna be gone for like 30 mins.....3 hours later... im pissed off because when he gas back , my drivers door wont open cause the fender is dented to hell , no coolant (a coolant hose burst) , oil temp was over 300* the motor was poping and moaning , so i let it cool down.....6 hours later... still warm...1.5 hours later.. finally cool
so i fixed the hose and filled it with water and it wouldnt start so i pushed it down a hill to pop the clutch and it chuged , sputtered and started now its running like poop but its running so i went to get a new engine an 82- 84 12a the guy i got it from said that its been sitting in a shed for 10 years but it was rebuolt like 6 mo before the car was totaled
so question 1
who wants to come and help for free(im broke) i traded yard work for the motor lol

Might not be carbon locked, but the coolant seals may be shot. Look in through the exhaust ports while turning the motor by hand. That way you can inspect the apex seals, make sure they are intact, and push on them with a pencil or something that won't cause damage to make sure that they move freely against the springs.
If you get it installed only to find that the coolant seals are shot (clouds of white smoke), then hit me up for an easy solution.

Yeah, I don't understand why people let people who don't have a car drive theres. Theres a reason why they don't have there own car. Also make sure everything is in good shape before you mod your car for any type of performance. you have to stay on top of maintnence, and replace alot of old worn components.
